The Kal-Haven Trail
A lecture I delivered before the Kal-Haven steering committee and its guests summarizing the early stages in our successful effort to create a rails-to-trails bicycle path.
This was the first successful project of its kind in Michigan, and for the first time since the sixties I was fully engaged in realpolitik, this time toward the acceptance of a recreational park.
Pacifism: A Failed Family Achievement
A brief comparison between Richard of Conisburgh's unsuccessful assassination attempt against Henry V and my own participation in the sixties protest movement.
